Nice song, and nice lil backstory. I like how it's not dependent on the beat... it's like parts have some kinda weird triplet syncopation almost. Good work!

Great Job!

I really like this song. Only a few things to say.

1: It's a lil too long, and it fails to grow much. It sounds like you worked on it for 20-30 min, went out for lunch, and then came back and started almost from scratch.
2: It dosent have much depth. I would suggest more 2 handed parts, or maybe a violin or something.

Ethereal...

I don't think that's quite the right word. It sounds kinda 8-bitish, which isn't bad. Maybe more of the cresendo in the beginning. Keep it up!

if there's another word that more or less means "not quite ethereal", then that's probably the word I need. I was aiming for ethereal, but not necessarily trying to drown the song in that kind of feel, either.

Not Bad

4/5, 9/10. Has a nice beat, and it flows pretty well. I think it was pretty well thought out, but I don't think the song is 5 worthy. Good work. keep it up.

Solid.

It takes 1:30 to really kick up. Other than that, I think this song is really lacking. Good use of non musical sfx blended with musical background. For future reference, I think this goes in "Ambient", regardless of the authors intended use. Video Game is more often then not reserved for 8-bit/ techno-ish remixes.

Lol i think your saying it's really lacking is a bit misleading heh i was a bit confused when i read that, but it's all good thanks for the review and yea I was always a bit unsure with the genre as I've catagorized most my songs as video game since it'll go to the soundtrack but thanks for the advice.

I think this is much better than some of your later works, i think. It sounds like more thought was put into it. I cant wait to hear the revised version!

with this song I was able to put more movement into it, without a harsh time limit it was possible to explore more variation and direction. The revised version will be quite a show I hope!
